Trial lessons:
Tuition is divided into 3 parts: Horse, Facility fee, and Instructor fee.
Payments can be made by PayPal, Checks or Cash in marked envelopes.

Horse dues are $15/student plus GET = $15.71, due to the horse owner. Waived for anyone riding his/her own mount.
Facility fees for children are $15/student plus GET = $15.71, due to Karoll Penovaroff. Waived for boarders.
Facility fees for adults are $25/student plus GET = $26.18 due to Karoll Penovaroff. Waived for boarders.
Instructor fees for half-hour lessons are $40/student plus GET = $41.88.
Instructor fees for hour lessons are $60/student plus GET = $62.82.
Please remember that we do not do refunds, and only offer make-ups for lessons that we cancel because of adverse weather.
In the event of a bank declining to honor a check the client will be obligated to pay the bank's fee (typically $35) plus the original lesson fee.
During the school year, families must enroll in Lalamilo Horse Program for terms. Students have the same day and time for a weekly lesson for the duration of the term. Terms run with the DOE calendar. First term is Q1 (first day of school up until October break). Second term is Q2 (first day of class after October break up until winter break). Third term is Q3 (first day of class in January up until March break). Fourth terms is Q4 (first day of class after March break until school dismisses at the end of May). Summer term is at the discretion of the instructor. School vacation weeks are used to do makeup lessons if needed.

Cancellation policies:
Riders will cancel a lesson if they have had WITHOUT MEDICATION: fever, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness or phlegmy discharge within 36 hours of the lesson.
Instructors may, at their discretion, cancel the mounted portion of a lesson and teach horsemanship lessons instead. These could include lessons about equine health, biomechanics, tack, psychology, etc.
Parent/Caregiver policies:
Everyone must pull off of Lalamilo Farms Road into the horse pasture.
Caregivers must remain in their cars or on the dedicated viewing platform. They may not interfere and/or cause an unsafe distraction. They are also welcome to drop off their children and return to collect them promptly at the start and end of the lesson time.
Attire policies:
Every student rides in a horseback riding helmet, every time, no exceptions. Students will provide their own riding helmets. Helmets must be ASTM/SEI approved and manufactured within 5 years. Helmets must be replaced after a fall.
Students will wear long pants. We recommend breeches, as they are pants designed for riding.
Students will wear boots with a heel. We recommend paddock boots or cowboy boots.
Student-owned horses policies:
Any student trailering or riding his/her own horse to a lesson must provide a Health Certificate from their vet.
Any horses coming onto the property MUST be cattle-broke.
Instructors reserve the right to refuse service to any horse or human.
Odds and ends:
Students should NOT bring treats for their horse.
No one may bring a dog onto the property.
There is a porta potty at Auntie Karoll's.
Students should bring their own water bottles. We do not have a water trough for people on the property.
