Horsemanship and riding lessons for keiki and adults in Waimea

It is with a heavy heart that we share that on December 20th 2019 Alex Penovaroff passed away. He was a legendary horseman, our host and our biggest supporter. Many times over the last year and a half of his life he would come out to the arena to personally greet our students and their families. Sitting tall on his horse, he embodied paniolo pride as he shook hands with the youngest children and encouraged them to keep riding and learning. He loved providing the arena where local children could come to learn horsemanship and riding. After watching our program for a few months, he turned to Auntie Ashley and said "you all are helping me get a little closer to Saint Peter's gate. I'll be able to wave up to Karoll from there." It has been our pleasure, Uncle Alex.
